The first third delivers a mix of nuts and coffee, all this paired by a spiciness in the background. Strength is slightly below medium (2,5/5).

In the second third, the smoke becomes more intense: rich nutty notes are now present, specifically walnut. Spices are still present in the background of every puff. This component makes the background slightly mineral and the smoke turns out to be dry. Strength increases to a medium level (3/5).

In the final third, no major changes take place, both in the profile and in strength. Intensity, however, is good, in particular when compared with the first part. In the last inch, a mild herbal hint is added.

Overall, a cigarthat is better enjoyed during the morning. San Cristobal de la Habana La Punta features a limited, yet well mixed and harmonious aromatic palette. Even though better cigars can be found in this size and shape.
